Recruitment

Summer recruitment has begun!  I as well as many others helping me are beginning to recruit new members to join the house next fall.  Not only does this mean looking for people on campus, but also those attending WSU as freshman in the fall.  We are starting to contact high schools, and meet new students who will be joining us here next year.  This is where I would like to extend a hand out to all alumni to help us continue to build our chapter.  You, as alumni of our chapter, are some of the best people we have to refer us to new members.  If you or any of your friends or family knows of anyone who will be attending WSU in the fall, and that you think would be a good addition to our house, please feel free to email me at any time.  Thanks for your help.

Message from the President

Tolo Club Meeting:

Thanks to everyone who was able to make it to this spring’s Tolo Club Meeting. It was really great being able to connect with brothers from all generations. I know, after talking to all the current members that we all came away from the meeting with a great feeling about the reignited interest in the house. We are all looking forward to the grand future that awaits us. Thanks to all that pledged help for house projects and your services to help with summer recruitment. It was truly an honor to meet you all and I look forward to keeping in contact. Please be sure to get a hold of any brothers who have not been in contact with the house so that we can share accomplishments in bringing back the house.

Health Inspection

This last week the house spent cleaning extensively every facet of the house. We divided the house into one floor a night and it went really well. We had to work really hard to get everything up to code so that we would pass. The health inspection is very important because if we didn’t pass then we can’t house freshmen next year. We passed with flying colors and received a 91%. The inspector from the county was very impressed with the improvement from last year and said that he would pass that along to the Greek Life Office. In comparison one of the sororities on campus failed and the inspector told them that he could shut them down immediately.  We were very happy to pass.
