    Homecoming BBQ at Tau Zeta
Saturday, September 27th, Lambda Chi Alpha will be throwing a pre-game BBQ for anyone that wants some delicious eats for only $5 (pending) per plate.  We encourage you, your family, and your friends to show up and show support for the new direction of our house.  All proceeds will go into making improvements around the house, and possibly towards renovating the fire truck as well.  We’ll begin cooking at 11:30 and will continue all the way until 45 minutes before kick off.

    Event Info:
    Date:        Saturday, September 27, 2008
Time:       11:30 AM until just before kick off
    Location:  Lambda Chi Alpha
(910 NE Colorado St, Pullman 99163)

    Save the Firetruck!
Tau Zeta members make an effort raising money to repair our fire truck.
As you may know, our fire truck is not currently drivable.  There is no rear right tire and finding a replacement has been difficult and will be expensive.  So, to raise money for the new tire, every Lambda Chi (member and associate member alike) in the house have been going around campus selling “Save the Firetruck” and “No Fear, No Regrets” tee shirts, WSU hats, and even ice cream.
This is largely thanks to one of our members in particular, Trevor Sodorff (Tau 1704).  Trevor, who sells ice cream during the summer around his neighborhood in Woodinville, and his father came up with the idea.  Using his connections to get the ice cream for a very low cost, and with his father managing to print the tee shirts and obtain the hats also for low cost, Lambda Chi Alpha has been able to earn over $1500 so far to repair the truck.  Les Schwab will be coming out to replace the tire in a few weeks, and the fire truck will once again be operational!

    Our 2008 Fall Recruitment Results:
Last year, WSU’s Interfraternity Council made the decision to drop Formal Recruitment in favor of a more informal style of recruiting for the incoming freshmen of 2008.  That being said, Rush Week was extended into several weeks and Tau Zeta was able to get 12 quality guys.
