$42,000 Raised at FurBall!

The men of Lambda Chi Alpha have something to be proud of. Last week, Tau Zeta dedicated their time to raise money for the Whitman County Humane Society. For our philanthropy week, six sororities took part in various activities including skits and serenades, competitive games that had pet themes and a man auction where Lambda Chi’s were sold to sororities as dates. We also held a booth at the center of campus that featured puppies from the Humane Society to raise money and awareness for our cause.

The culminating event of our philanthropy was the Furball dinner and auction held on Saturday evening. Lambda Chi’s helped the Whitman County Humane Society host this event. This year, the Furball event brought in more than $42,000 that will be used for the operation budget of the Humane Society. This is the largest sum of money to be raised during Furball. Lambda Chi’s are very happy to have had a role in this successful fundraiser.
